Green Huse
CEO of Green's Gardens
Green began her love for gardening in Southern California with her Mom in her home garden. In college she majored in Studio Art with a focus on landscape painting, which gave her an eye and training for color and composition. After college, she spent a few years in Oregon working on Organic Farms and learned about managing food crops. She began her formal horticultural education at Merritt College in Oakland, at the esteemed Landscape & Horticultural Department. She started Green's Gardens in 1995.
She feels lucky to do what she does, owning a "green" business. In addition to being a gardener, she is a parent to 2 teenage boys, a singer/songwriter, swimmer, biker, yogi, reader and painter.

Our Lead Gardeners have horticultural classwork and 10-25 years of field experience.
As a team, we are always learning and growing as gardeners,
and conscious of environmental concerns and social justice issues.

Jesus Garcia
Jesus has worked for Green's Gardens for nearly 10 years. He enjoys ensuring that clients are happy with their garden. His favorite plants are gardenias because of their aroma.
Outside of gardening, he likes to be active with biking and weight training.

Enrique Andres
Enrique has 8 years under his belt witth Green's Gardens and enjoys cleaning up gardens, treating infected plants and seeing them heal, and making sure to do the best job everyday.
In his free time, he loves to spend time with his grandchildren, going out to eat and shop.

Operations Manager
Jovani Lara
Jovani takes care of day-to-day operations and checks in with the crews daily. He will also conduct site visits alongside Green to ensure quality care of the gardens we service.
Outside of Green's, Jovani likes to play and coach volleyball, spoil his two cats, learn fun facts, and keep up with his favorite manga & manhwas.
Administrative Assistant
Janine Peñafort
Janine, based remotely in El Dorado County, handles some of the behind-the-scenes work to make sure things run smoothly for clients and the gardening crews with scheduling and communications.
She enjoys gardening and farming; practicing herbalism; and spending time with her cats, Cilantro & Parsley.
